The Graduate job Success  is designed to help University graduates succeed in the real world by showing them how to penetrate the highly competitive graduate job market and apply their skills in an employment environment. In other words, this programme will teach and coach them how to market themselves favourably to employers and sell their skills to potential employer in the highly competitive graduate job market. Understanding the Job market and knowing how to sell yourself to prospective employers is key to success. This programme, will prepare you with the knowledge and skills you will need to compete favourably in the Job market and succeed.

In this programme you will learn the following modules:

 

MODULE 1

UNDERSTANDING THE GRADUATE JOB MARKET

Here, we will explore in detail the UK Graduate Job Market and find out the trends and latest developments. We will look at the culture in the job market. We will look at both national and international opportunities available. We will also look at various players in the market. 

 

At the end of this module, you will gain a very good understanding of the UK Graduate Job Market, their various players and opportunities and how to penetrate it and succeed.

MODULE 2

SELECTING AN INDUSTRY AND A JOB ROLE

In this module, we will look at various Industry sector and specific roles available for recruitment. This will help the student to know what is available in order  to make a thorough and informed decision of the area to sell his or her skills. 

 

At the end of this module, you will have a broad spectrum of Industries you can work in and a long list of potential Employers to choose  you will know what they are asking for, in terms of both technical and non technical skills and how to approach them.

 

MODULE 3

APPLICATION PROCESS

In this module, you will learn how to apply for the job role you want to work in. How to write a good CV, fill in complex Application forms, write a winning Covering letter.

 

At the end of this module, you will know how to approach an Employer, fill in and complete complex Application forms and write a good CV and winning Covering letters.

 

MODULE 4

SELECTION PROCESS AND INTERVIEW

In this module, you will learn the various stages of interview and selection process, from Telephone interview to face to face interview. You will also learn about task based interview and performance based interview and how to scale through those processes successfully.

 

At the end of this module, you will understand how the selection process works at the Graduate job market level and how to prepare yourself for success.

 

MODULE 5​

CAREER PROGRESSION

In this module, you will learn how to progress successfully the Career ladder, and progress unhindered to the level you are competent to reach. You will learn how to sell yourself for higher price in the Industry of your interest and expertise.

 

At the end of this module, you will know how to progress smoothly in the Career ladder and how to sell yourself for a lucrative offer. 

 

MODULE 6

APPLICATION OF FAITH

In this module, you will learn about Faith and how to apply Faith to achieve your goals. You will learn about the 4Ds of Faith and how it works to put you on the top. Faith is a Scientific Law which can be empirically observed. 

 

At the end of this module, you will know how to beat the competition in a crowded Graduate Job market and sell your skills successfully.

 

MODULE 7

DEVELOPING EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS

In this module, we will explore the Cannot do without Employability Skills also known as non technical skills or soft skills Employers ask for.and how to present them properly on your CV and Covering letters and enhance your chances above your competitors.

 

At the end of this module, you will know the non technical skills Employers ask for from all job applicants and how to develop them and market yourself advantageously.

 

MODULE 8

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT TOOL KIT

In this module, we concentrate ion working on yourself. We will focus on looking at those invisible barriers that can hinder your aspirations and uprooting them. This will include;

Self Confidence

Yourself Identity

Yourself Esteem

Yourself worth

Yourself Concept

 

We will also look at :

 

Your Belief System

Thought Patterns

Habits

 

At the end of this module, you will be able to identify your strengths and weaknesses and improve for a better you. You will be able to confront internal barriers that want to hinder your employability.

 

MODULE 9

LEADERSHIP AND PERSONALITY

In this module, we will look at Leadership and Personality to identify your leadership skills and your Personality to match you favourably with an Industry and Job role where you can excel.

MODULE 10

CONFRONTING YOUR FEARS

In this module, we will reach deep to address hidden fears that may pose as a threat to your success and turn these fears into power.

 

At the end of this module, you will be able to eliminate all fears trying to stop you from achieving your goals and turn them into power.

Who is it for?

This programme is suitable to University graduates who want to gain understanding of the graduate job market and know how to penetrate it successfully.

 

The programme is for the newly graduated and graduates who graduated in the last 3 years but are not working in graduate roles in their current employment but would like to get a graduate role,

 

 

Delivery methodology

This programme will be taught in-person I.e. face to face in a traditional class room style once every week on Fridays from 7pm to 10pm. It will follow formal lessons mixed with workshops and seminars . This will include CV workshops.and mock interviews.
